Large Junction Box

Problem: The before picture is considered a large JBox (Junction Box) which the customer had built in-house. There are so many components required that the sourcing of it was an astronomical feat. Inventorying the required components was also problematic. Additionally, because of the complexity and intricacy of the box, quality issues would often result during the assembly and installation processes that would render the box nonfunctional.

Solution: The after picture is the custom junction box that ACS designed. The customer simply orders one part number and receives a box that is fully potted. Any connection becoming unattached or failing is impossible. The enclosure is custom molded with screws to hold the top and bottom together. The best part – ACS’ custom-designed solution provided the customer with substantial cost savings per unit.

Din Rail

Problem: The before picture is a din rail assembly that our customer was utilizing. The customer was not satisfied with the design because there are many components to source and their installers were constantly pulling the wires out of the connection ports. Additionally, many of the connections would dislodge because of the constant vibration it experienced during use.

Solution: The after picture is the solution that ACS designed which resolved the issues that the customer was experiencing. Our design offered a simple “plug and play” connection where it became impossible for connections to dislodge as all wires were joined within the custom mold. ACS’ solution provided the customer peace of mind and significant cost savings.

Small Junction Box

Problem: The before picture shows a wiring harness that was placed into a much larger harness to accomplish many connections. To build this harness, the customer had to source many components and utilize labor that is not specifically suited to build wiring harnesses.

Solution: The after picture is ACS’ design solution. Our design incorporated the harness shown, as well as the much larger harness. ACS molded the box to house the inner connections. This ACS custom fitted solution offered the customer substantial cost savings.
