A power cord is an electrical cable that connects equipment or an appliance to an electrical utility or power supply and can carry both AC and DC power. A cord set includes connectors molded to the cord at each end which are detachable from both the power supply and the electrical equipment. ACS cables are made using plastic or rubber jacket with one or both ends molded with connectors.
